- Accumulator
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the bet to pay out, and winnings from each selection roll over into the next.
- Asian Handicap
- A handicap that gives one team a fractional or whole goal advantage or disadvantage, creating balanced odds for bettors.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for placing bets.
- Bet Builder
- An online tool that lets you combine multiple outcomes from the same match into a single wager.
- Bet Slip
- The digital record that lists your selected wagers, stake amounts, and potential payouts before you confirm the bet.
- Cash Out
- A feature allowing you to settle a bet before the event ends, locking in a profit or limiting a loss.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible match outcomes—home win, draw, or away win—in one wager.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet where you pick a team to win; if the match ends in a draw, your stake is refunded.
- Edge
- The perceived advantage a bettor believes they have over the bookmaker’s odds on a particular outcome.
- Expected Value (EV)
- The average amount a bet is expected to win or lose per unit wagered over the long run.
- Fixed Odds
- The odds set when you place a bet; they stay the same even if the market odds later change.
- Full-Time Result
- The final outcome of a match at the end of regulation time—either a home win, draw, or away win.
- Futures
- A bet placed on the outcome of a tournament, award, or season before it starts, such as predicting the World Cup winner.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet that requires you to predict both the result at halftime and the result at full time of a match.
- Handicap
- A points or goal adjustment given to one team to create a more balanced betting line.
- In-Play (Live Betting)
- Betting on a match while it is in progress, with odds that update as the game unfolds.
- Juice
- The commission or cut the bookmaker includes in the odds, often referred to as the "vig".
- Kelly Criterion
- A mathematical formula that calculates the optimal proportion of your bankroll to wager based on your perceived edge.
- Live Odds
- The continuously updated odds offered during in‑play betting, reflecting the current state of the game.
- Margin Betting
- A wager on the exact difference in score between the winning team and the losing team.
- Moneyline
- A straight bet on which team will win the match, with odds expressed as a positive or negative number.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals (or points) in a match will be over or under a specified line.
- Point Spread
- A handicap used mainly in U.S. sports that assigns a margin of victory to the favorite, making both sides equally attractive to bettors.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability of the outcome, giving a positive expected value.
